In Outpatient care, from the first trimester fetal screening, we concentrate our efforts on prenatal care.
If there is a possibility that you are pregnant, or have complications and ,during last pregnancy, at delivery, were pointed out anything, see a doctor as early as you can.

Moreover, Yao Municipal Hospital of Pediatrics has a NICU, so that we can deal with babies from around 30 weeks old, To accompany that Obstetrics and Gynecology can also receive a lot of high-risk pregnancy patients with threatened premature delivery, premature rupture of membranes, intrauterine growth retardation, placenta previa, etc.

Please be understanding that to guarantee safety we limit the number of deliveries.
If you wish to give birth in our hospital, please consult us as soon as possible.

　

Obstetrics

 

The department of Obstetrics, as the secondary emergency facility for physicians in the area, helps with the emergency pregnant mother transportation. Now, there are 6 NICU beds in the Pediatrics ward that can receive premature babies 28 weeks or older and 1300 grams or heavier.

In response to that in Obstetrics, we can receive a lot of high-risk pregnancy patients with threatened premature delivery, premature rupture of the membranes (PROM), intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR), placenta previa, etc.
But as the acceptance an emergency pregnant mother transportation is conditioned by the availability of a NICU bed and doctor, and sufficient staff number, so please contact us beforehand.

Also, for normal pregnancies, it is also possible to have the pregnancy screening at a doctor's clinic (hospital), and come to our department from the ninth month until delivery.
As early during your pregnancy as possible, come visit us once, to make an appointment for your child delivery.

　

Gynecology

 

We perform gynecologic surgical procedure such as cancer diseases (ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, cancer of the uterine body, etc.) surgery, benign diseases (ovarian cyst, fibroid, uterine prolapse, etc.) surgery,  extensive diseases. And we also perform laparoscopic surgery and  hysteroscopy.
In addition, although we also provide chemotherapy and radiation therapy for malignant tumors, our facilities do not support one type of radiotherapy : brachytherapy for cervical cancer.
We also provide terminal care, in collaboration with private physicians in the area and palliative care teams.
