Internal Medicine of the Yao municipal hospital is an educational institution of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine.
Specialists in various fields of Internal Medicine provide state-of-the-art advanced medical care.
As a major hospital, we perform acute and emergency medicine. As the core of our health community, we work to further deepen cooperation with the local clinics and small hospitals.
Departments were segmentalized in out-of-hospital clinical departments of Hematology/Gastroenterology and Hepatology/Cardiovascular Medicine/Oncology in order to promote advanced medical care in each specialized field of the internal medicine department and staff with specialized advanced knowledge and techniques are provided to correspond with the advanced medical treatments in each specialized field.
Physicians of each service, while providing acute medical care in conjunction with cardiologists, play a central role in inter-departmental cooperation.

Diabetes Center opened on April 2, 2012.

At Diabetes Center, medical care such as guidance for dialysis prevention specifically including diabetes control, early detection of complications, early treatment, and nutrition guidance, are conducted by a team made up of doctors, nurses, and registered dietitians specializing in diabetes.
